I recently had the pleasure of working with JPS to clean our ducts and tune our furnaces. They arrived on time and got to work right away. They were very careful to avoid any spillout of the dust and contents into our home, and kept the area clean and avoided any tracks. They also did a great job of keeping the heat in as much as possible during the winter months. The technician provided us with insight into what was going on with our heating system, and took lots of pictures to show us. They got our furnaces back in top shape, and answered all our questions and addressed our concerns with heat. They even had diagnosed problems on the furnace to look out for, and replaced only what was needed. They were ethical enough to double-check a suspect expensive part replacement and avoid overcharging us. Overall, I was very pleased with the service provided by this company. They were professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. I would highly recommend them for any of your heating and cooling needs.

Heat went out during a recent cold snap. Called JPS on Saturday evening and they had a tech out within an hour. Matt was great and diagnosed the problem, got the heat back in quickly, and gave me some options for repair/replacement of the failing components.

Positive:- Excellent install for my water heater. (Inside and out). Very clean work.- Friendly staff that took care of really doing a good job cleaning the site after themselves in the end.- Install manager came during the day to check on his crew’s work.- Excellent financing with « FinanceIt ».- Impeccable job rewiring my thermostat.- Their rendez-vous / texting system is outstanding.Negative:- Was promised a cover for my AC unit during the sales process. Bad surprise when they said no on installation day.- Ugly install of the external condnder unit. Wiring not protected against the elements. No « fortress ducting » or any sort of covering other than silicon. During the sale, I was told « no extras guaranteed ». When I asked for something to cover the wiring, they said: « We only do this for condos or special orders. This is not included ». Very disappointing.- A small tubing was discovered to be broken for my humidifier. Install manager promised to have his crew come back and rectify that. After a week wait, I called. Asked for a call back…and never got one.- Trust issue: I was never notified that half the crew that came were in their first week or first install at JPS. I would have liked to be informed because it made any statement from them about the above concerns very untrustworthy. Same goes for the AC startup process. I was told it went well, but seeing how trust is lacking now, I might need to get my brand new AC serviced by someone else this summer.Conclusion:Overall, an OK experience. You get what you pay for. Had more trust in « Legacy Heating » for my other property.

I discovered failed hot surface igniter in my furnace late in the day on New Year’s Eve which also happened to be a Saturday of a long weekend. Next regular appointment would have been Wednesday. No one was going to be home for several days and the neighbours shut the water off and added some space heaters near return air vents. I called the emergency service line at JPS to see what my options were, despite a hefty emergency charge, I trusted them to go ahead and see if they could repair it without having to wait for a supplier to open on Tuesday. The job was completed and heat running 4 hours after I called. Fast and prompt service without me being home.

We had our furnace replaced a few weeks ago.The process was good and on time since there was a small hiccup and the installer had to do everything himself.Due to this, it took almost 12 hours for Jeff to do it. I felt a bit bad for him due to the lenght of time.They arrived on time and left until everything was installed.We are very happy with the new furnace overall.I have to add that the after purchase service is been great.This last time Devon did a great job checking and making sure that all is still in good order.He recommended to book a duct cleaning that we will do probably in the spring.Thanks again for great service.

very bad service, not recommended definitely. make wrong diagnostic report and cause replace the parts may still in good condition. (but they still fully charge the customer)Yes， The manager had conversation with us in 40 minutes after second service, but resolve nothing! we think we stll pay the new parts that may still in good condition. (+labor). We still think this company try to sale new parts and try to get more commision from its sale. Again, very bad service, not recommended definitely.

He got it back up and running in no time, provided advice on servicing and eventual replacement, and gave me a quote on a couple of replacement parts I was curious about. This company won't install equipment that they can't sell to you themselves. Many unethical companies do this for 2 reasons: They mark up the cost of the equipment, and their 'techs' only have to know how to install one specific type of equipment. This indicated their techs aren't very experienced.

AC installed timely and professionally. Ac system turned off because it doesn’t work properly. I believe problem is thermostat, installer did not know how to set it snd unable to instruct me on how to use, contacted manufacturers for coaching. No luck. My current plan is to contract another AC company in efforts to fix. I lost confidence in JPS. I would never recommend them to anyone as I spent a lot of money for a system that doesn’t work

Update: Our furnace stopped working on a frigid Dec evening with out-of-town family visiting. I called the emergency line and Karl was at our place within half an hour. It turned out to be a problem with the control board which required additional help. John was able to pick up a new board in case it wasn’t fixable and came over. Long story short, the board was replaced and our system was back up and running within a few hours of the initial call. Great troubleshooting and pro-active problem solving by both Karl and John (they even rewired the humidifier which was causing an unrelated issue). And everything was covered by the warranty! Fantastic customer service and highly recommended!

I had an other company come and supposedly clean furnace etc! What I got was that my carbon monoxide numbers were in the 6 area and that I should be prepared if it went higher to have electric heaters! To make a story short I was very concerned and told him I would get a second opinion . I was lucks to be able to get JPS company to come and check it 4 days later be told my numbers were zero after testing 4 times . To my relief did not have to worry about the carb mon . Theta kappa did some cleanning that the 300.00 $ guy never did! So disappointing that as a senior I did not need that kind of stress. Thank you so much JPS for the great work. Doris

I used this company after hours when my furnace failed in the evening and it was -20C outside.Dispatch on call was very professional and reassured me that they will have their tech on call on the ways as soon as they can, which they did the same evening.I would like to especially extend my complements to the technical Karl Fisher, he was the man who saved the day!! Karl has quickly diagnosed the issue as well as recommended another potential problem in my furnace to address. He fixed the problem in a timely manner and even recommended enrolling for the annual maintenance program which saved me a few dollars on the final bill. My 40 year old furnace had a major malfunction at 9PM on a -20C evening which almost resulted in my house burning down. After a visit from the CFD & the assurance that the near disaster had been avoided, I called JPS from their BBB listing at 10PM, as their open hours were 11PM, while most others showed closed. They dispatched a service tech and he was here at 11:30PM. After some inspection it was determined that my "old" furnace was not worth the possible repairs and I decided to replace it as soon as possible, as I had no heat and the temps were severely cold. The sales person was here before 9AM the next morning and the installion crew was here at 7:30AM the morning following with my new furnace. They were everything you hope to get with workers in your home. Due to the massive re-fit the new unit required, they were here until 6PM and I had heat within less than 48 hours of the malfunction. Their work was efficient and impressive. The finished installation is amazing. They were courteous, informative and the clean up was great. Despite the circumstances of this replacement, JPS was a very good choice. I have nothing but praise for all the staff I dealt with, the financing options that were offered and the timely manner in which they all responded to the urgency of my situation. A major thanks to all of the JPS staff that made me feel valued as a customer.
