Devon came to perform our annual A/C maintenance on our unit that was installed last year.I’m always hesitant to do these types of appointments alone but having Devon as my technician today made all those hesitations disappear.Within the first minute we were laughing, chatting, and getting to know one another. Installed a Daikin A/C system and Thermostat. Very professional installers, Josh (installer) and Travis (helper)kept their work space clean and tidy. They rolled out a clean walkway Matt from the front door all the way through to the basement to protect our hardwood floors. After install Josh walked me through what was done with the install outside as well as in the furnace room, to familiarize myself with the whole install. Then showed me the new Daikin Thermostat that was installed to familiarize myself on how to control and operate for the comfort of our home!Thank you JPS for the professional installation and care your installers took to look after our home during the installation process 👍👍

The service man I got was thorough, he checked everything out , step by step, to find out why the air wasn’t producing the cool like it did last year. I was able to interrupt him at any time . he kept his focus. Very professional. It wasn’t very long till he determined it was my filter on top of the unit . It pays to read the manual ! This is a wall unit in a condo. Before he left he asked me if I had any other questions. He explained how the remote works just to be sure I was operating it the right way.There was not one thing I found that I was not happy with from the time he walked in to time he left

Team installed a daikin AC unit. Everything went well but had some surprises. During the estimate portion they asked if I wanted to keep my nest thermostat, I said yes. A new thermostat was installed which I understand was required due to how the AC unit works. No big deal though.They connected my humidifier to the new thermostat and that is where the issues began. The humidifier in the winter would run whenever my furnace was on regardless of the set humidity point. I had a JPS HVAC person come out 2-3 times. The first time he investigated then simply half-closed the ball valve that feeds the humidifier instead of digging into why water kept flowing.The team also replaced my humidifier (I asked) with a new GeneralAire one. Another huge mistake of mine. The generalaire is not able to humidify my home. I cannot get the humidity level about 33% and that’s when it’s 30% outside. (Yes, I opened the ball-valve).Instead of using the thermostat that was originally installed when the house was built they also were rather forceful in demanding a new thermostat be installed on the HVAC ductwork that feeds the house.Pros: great ACCons: terrible humidifier. I have many regrets. I am seeking out a different company to fix the dud humidifier.

We first had Jed from JPS over in mid-March for a consultation on a new AC unit for the house. His professionalism, experience, and in-depth understanding of our needs was incredible and ultimately we settled on the perfect Daikin unit for the house.A week later towards the end of March the installation team of Josh, Blakes, and Greg arrived and quickly got to work installing the unit. They were incredibly professional, communicated updates regularly through the day, walked us through all the features and operational highlights of the Daikin, and left the work area in its original state. The install team provided great recommendations and tips on the operation of our new unit in order to get the best out of it, and gave good guidance as to proper maintenance schedules, etc. They also worked on some of our existing furnace features to ensure everything was integrated properly, streamlining the entire set up from thermostat to furnace to humidifier to AC. In this regard they went above-and-beyond what was required under the install contract but showed a level of pride in their work and customer care that was extraordinary.From start-to-finish, this entire team did a fantastic job of helping us with our AC needs and the final product looks sleek and has been working flawlessly. The thermostat quit working the day before a long weekend. A repair person arrived within a couple of hours of my phone call and made a temporary repair so there was heat for the weekend.The next Thursday the repairman returned with an electrician to make the permanent repair. Our experience with JPS was nothing but positive. From the very first meeting at the showroom to the last day of installation, we had absolutely no reasons for complains. The things we liked in particular are: Daikin brand and the variety of options to combine different modules (other companies were giving us less options at a higher price) and Daikin’s slim AC unit is quite unique on the market; price for the top of the line combo was less than what other companies were asking for the mid-range; all products looked and felt more solid and better designed comparing to some other popular brands in the same price range; 14-year warranty was the best we could find; during site visit, Daniel was able to correct some information about our current setup given by other estimators which saved us from extra work; everything we needed was in stock and ready to install the next day (other companies often had to order less popular, higher-end units); the installers were always on time and acted very professionally; there were no unpleasant surprises or issues during the install. So overall, we can say that JPS service well exceeded our expectations and we would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
